So, Starpunk v1.0.0 is complete! It is a very basic little bugger, but it works and that makes me ridiculously happy! Annoying that I had to side track into a whole IndieAuth server, but this means Gondulf is also hitting v1.0.0 today

If this works, and that is a big if, I will have made my first post via micropub, which would be kinda cool

Also, I need to decide what to implement next. Currently I’m only supporting plaintext notes. Maybe media attachments?

Almost got micropub working tonight, but I’m banging my head on the standard so I’m gonna do the grown up thing and sleep instead of raging at it until the wee hours

Processing a lot of logon events tonight. By which I mean putting logs on the fire because its cold enough to freeze the balls off a brass monkey tonight.

One thing I have observed trying to use AI to help me build these services is that AI is really not very good at reading and implementing standards. It's really infuriating to point a tool at a well documented standard, by URL, and still have it completely make up things about that standard no ma...

And the first valuable discovery of the day, do not use title to post when using echofeed, use content. The clue was in the name really...

I am giving this whole Indieweb, POSSE approach to internet content a go again and it is amazing just how hostile many services are to the concept of having content syndicated to them. I will do a longer form write up later but here is my stack so far
